The Location
Suéno is nestled in the heart of the new capital city, designed by top
international architects to deliver a high standard of living that fits the needs
of today’s modern Egyptian families without excessive luxury.
The new capital city is situated along the corridor between Cairo and the Red Sea, providing linkages to significant shipping routes. The city is bound to become the focal point of Eastern Cairo.
The new city is located 45 kilometers east of Cairo and just outside the Second Greater Cairo Ring Road.
According to the plans, the city would become the new administrative and financial capital of Egypt, housing
the main government departments and ministries, as well as foreign embassies. On 700 square kilometers total area,
it would have a population of almost seven million people.
